Yahoo Tech’s David Pogue looks at the all-new Mac Pro, calling it an “insanely powerful” computer designed for professional creative and scientific users. He’s impressed with its horsepower, noting that “every wire, every circuit, every chip has been designed for speed,” and he says the desktop’s “ace in the hole is two top-of-the-line graphics cards.” Pogue points out that the Mac Pro handles pro apps like Final Cut Pro X, Photoshop, and Mathematica “faster than any Mac ever tested,” saving professionals time and money. “The Mac Pro, in every possible way, is a bet on the future,” writes Pogue.
