The Originals Spoilers: Nathan Parsons Dishes on the Jackson-Haley-Elijah Love Triangle

One of the best storylines from Season 1 of The Originals has been watching Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) come into her own and bounce back and forth between the vampire camp and her werewolf kin in the bayou — not to mention her love triangle with Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Jackson (Nathan Parsons). What does the end of the season have in store for these three?
“Their relationship is complicated,” Nathan told TVLine about the werewolf duo. “Jackson has watched Haley as a wolf for years, so he’s had a lot of time to get to know her. When the curse was broken and he finally got to talk to her in person, he’d built up an entire relationship in his head. So for him to just say, ‘Hey, I’m that wolf that’s been watching you and we’re supposed to be married,’ that was a lot to throw at her at once.”

And with Hayley about to give birth to Klaus’ (Joseph Morgan) baby, things are getting all too real for Jackson — not to mention the fact that Hayley is important to the werewolf cause.
“You want the pack to be strong and you want Hayley to be the queen, but she also has a relationship with the vampires,” Nathan said. “I think Jackson will use that relationship to get back into the good graces of the Original vampires. It’s a tough line to walk; you want the personal relationship, but you also need the political relationship.”

But will it be easy to get on the good side of the Original vamps seeing as how he and Elijah are fighting over the same lady? See More
